This is the fifth game I made without using a tutorial (I did my first game jam in between entries!).

This game was made in 1.5 weeks after 1 failed attempt. This was supposed to be my two week game, but I got impatient to start on another proje 

By making this I learned:

  • A lot of stuff to do with Rigidbodies:
    • How to use godot's built-in physics
    • How to make and use physics materials in 2D
  • How NOT to do multiplayer games 

Things I would have liked to fix given more time:

  • Actual multiplayer. Maybe online multiplayer with a lobby system.
  • Powerups? If you are equally matched, games may take a while.
  • Different vehicle types (different in the ways they steer and move/different control schemes).
  • Ways to select players' input methods.
